It has been a busy and productive year for us.
As well as our core mentoring work core mentoring work, we provide additional training opportunities for residents residing in probation hostels, called approved premises. Our woodwork project restarted after lockdown, with residents making the products pictured above for our Winchester Christmas Market stall on 2nd December.
The woodwork project has funding until December 22 and we are now in need of an experienced woodworker to take the project to the next level. Contact caroline@footprintsproject.co.uk for further details.

Each month they prepare and cook a meal from scratch which they then share. Yum!

Portland Prison
Far From Home Sponosred Bike Ride.
In October Staff, Trustees and volunteers took part in our sponsored bike ride riding from Portland to Winchester to highlight the distances that prisoners' family travel to visit them, placing strain on relationships that have been shown to be vital to reducing reoffending.
Winchester Prison
We were delighted to be joined by the High Sheriff of Dorset at Portland prison and the High Sheriff of Hampshire at Winchester Prison. The event raised over £5000 for the project. Thanks to ISG for sponsoring the event and New Park Farm for hosting our end celebration.
We have a new office.
In October we secured a year long free lease of 290 Wimborne Road, Winton. The new space will allow us to increase the support we can offer for service users and our vision is to open it for multi-agency use, enabling service users to access help with IT, mental health, wellbeing and relaxation classes, support with domestic violence or sexual abuse and counselling services. We hope to have the centre in use from the end of January, Covid allowing.
